APA Eco Committee

The Eco Committee's goal is to foster a sustainable and environmentally-conscious school community and to promote awareness and action on ecological issues.

Our mandate includes promoting environmental stewardship across the school, and engaging students, staff, and families in collaborative efforts.

Initiatives to date have included:

• Recycling and waste reduction programs (e.g., “Zero Waste Days”)
• School garden project for hands-on learning
• Clean-up and beautification days
• Green events like Earth Day celebrations
• Installation of water bottle refill stations (Elkay project)
